Our approach
We run no third-party advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies. Everything listed below is first-party: it is set by this website only and is either strictly necessary for the site to work or used to measure our own content.
Because we do not profile visitors or sell data to advertisers, the notice you see on the site is an acknowledgement rather than a consent gate, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) exemption for strictly necessary and first-party measurement storage.

Third parties
Our hosting and database infrastructure, our CRM and the AI provider that generates chat replies all process data on our behalf under contract. None of them set advertising cookies through this site. Where a page embeds an external map or video link, that link opens on the provider's own site under their cookie policy.
How to refuse or clear them
- Clear site data for solarbritain.com in your browser settings. This removes the visitor identifier, the notice flag and any stored chat.
- Block cookies and storage for this site entirely. The public pages, guides and calculator will still work; the portal sign-in will not.
- Use private or incognito browsing so everything is discarded when you close the window.
