For most UK rooftop commercial installations, stay with monocrystalline (TOPCon in 2026). Bifacial is worth the uplift on ground-mount, solar carports, and elevated flat-roof arrays with light-coloured ballast or reflective membranes — where the 5–15% rear gain typically outweighs the extra capex.
